What is Willowcrest?
Willowcrest is a progressive center for the early education of neurodivergent children. The collaboration between the clinical team, teachers and parents provides holistic support to help children make progress towards their goals in a supportive and nurturing environment. In addition to its developmental preschool program, it supports families through a system of parent education and community building opportunities, consultation on school placement, IEP support, in-home and school observations and referrals.
Who does it serve?
Willowcrest supports children with speech and language delays, ADHD, ASD and a variety of neurodivergent learning styles and their families.
What does it offer?
Willowcrest’s developmental preschool provides immersive early education through a full-day multi-sensory language based curriculum that promotes emotional regulation, social communication and friendship skills. Children have the opportunity to work collectively and 1:1 with a cooperative team of teachers and therapists including: speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, board certified music therapists, educational therapists and behavior analysts.
What is the space like?
We’re excited to announce that Willowcrest will be expanding its space in the summer of 2022 to include an additional classroom and playground for the 2022/23 school year! Currently Willowcrest offers 2000 sq ft of indoor/outdoor classroom space including swings and climbing frame, ample classroom space and therapy room for 1:1 sessions.
What’s the teacher student ratio?
Between 1:1 and 3:1 depending on the activity.
What are the hours?
School hours are Monday through Friday from 9am-2pm.
When does school start?
Willowcrest offers students rolling admission and families are encouraged to apply year round. We are currently accepting applications for the 2022/23 school year.
What’s the tuition?
$4250 per month, including speech, occupational, music and behavioral therapies.
